Nachdem wir Mo Schreiber auf unserem Butterknife in München am Bach gesehen haben war klar: es braucht einen dedicated Eisbach Shape basierend auf dem Butterknife. Das Ergebnis ist die Bachforelle. Ein unglaublich vielseitiges Board, das sich neben dem Eisbach ideal für Wellen wie The.Riverwave in Ebensee, den Almkanal aber auch Citywaves ideal eignet. Die Bachforelle behält die verspielten Gene und den Pop des Butterknifes bei und lässt euch radikale Turns in die Welle zaubern. Bisher waren wir der Meinung, dass man im Spektrum von Turns bis Tricks immer irgendwo Abstriche machen muss - die Bachforelle beweist das Gegenteil! Egal ob radikale Layback Snaps, Carves oder Air Reverse und Shove It, die Bachforelle does it all! Die volle Outline in der Mitte des Boards sorgt für viel Speed und Stabilität, gepaart mit der relativ starken Verjüngung im Bereich der Side Fins und im vorderen Drittel des Boards lässt sich trotzdem jeder noch so radikale Turn durchführen. Aufgrund des ausgeprägten double concaves ab der Mitte des Boards und dem flachen deck fühlt sich die Bachforelle trotz ihrer Breite ausgesprochen responsive an. Das mini Swallow Tail lässt ein flexen des Tails zu, was dir am Ende des Turns einen extra Boost ans Geschwindigkeit liefert. Zusätzlich wird dadurch die Tail Area verkleinert und mehr Halt in Turns erzielt. Dank des dezentes Vees im Bereich der Center Fin sind Rail to Rail transitions nochmals smoother. Das Ergebnis ist ein Shape der Turns zulässt wie ein High Performance Shortboard aber mit dem Pop und der verspielten Natur eines Skateboards punktet.
